Helwani's words:

"I spoke to [Maynard] yesterday he said the only way, the only way he can actually be convinced to go down to featherweight is if they give him a fourth fight against Frankie Edgar. He doesn't even know if he can make featherweight, but he could be convinced if they maybe throw the Frankie Edgar fight, a coaching spot on TUF which Chael [Sonnen] has now, or an Anthony Pettis fight at featherweight. But right now, he said that 155 is his home. His knee is feeling better; it's just his hamstring that's bothering him. He doesn't know when he'll be back."

Wouldn't mind watching it again either. The 3 fights are split down the middle, plus the last 2 fights were great! (can't remember too much about the 1st one)

While I loved both the last fights, Gray is better suited at LW and Frankie is better suited at 145. If they somehow meet up again in the same weight class then im down like the syndrome to watch them fight again.

I dont think they should follow eachother around weight classes though looking to fight though.

Gray is a beast at 155.. Let him stay there and work his way to bendo. That would be a tough fight.

I can kind of understand Gray wanting to get another crack at Frankie though, The guy has come so close to beating Edgar three times but can only say hes done it once. Edgars up on him 2-1 and Im sure Gray thinks he can avenge those losses since hes come so close so many times. Probably sucks.

To this day I think Gray "could" beat Edgar if he could employ a TD heavy gameplan like the very first fight. Shit Id be a fool to say that Gray couldnt beat Edgar standing, ot almost happened...twice.

I dont see these guys fighting again unless some belts are on the line tbh. Thy'll always be in different divisions.
