People make me laugh, do you honestly think Weidman is a tougher test than GSP really? GSP has beaten people who have competed at middleweight in the past and fyi.. Carlos Condit is the same height as Silva. Build is not too dissimilar either.
Weidman is not in the same universe as GSP.. and probably never will be. If you think Weidman is a tougher test you are insane.

Not many ppl will bash him losing to Gsp vs Weidman.

People who fail to see that a champion has obligations to his division and challengers make me depressed as an mma fan sometimes. Its like being the smartest kid in retarded class.

Not many ppl will bash him losing to Gsp vs Weidman. | If you don't see this as Anderson Silva being a bad ass you are clinically insane. He wants the super fight and he is saying if GSP doesn't want to meet me halfway I will go down to 170. Also, losing to GSP is WAY riskier. If he loses to Wiemdan he would easily get an immediate rematch, win, and claim it was an off night. Losing to GSP makes GSP number one p4p and there is very little Silva could do to take that number one spot back, even if he beat GSP in a rematch it wouldn't matter much, GSP would still be number one.
That being said, I really hope this is true, I think this would be without a doubt the biggest fight in MMA history.
PS If Silva drops to 170 should Weidman then move up to 205 given he has already cleared out the MW division? JBJ don't be scared homie, Weidman is coming for you and after that Cain!

Its like being the smartest kid in retarded class. | Anderson has been defending his title for years. The only difference right now is that nobody has established themselves as a clear #1 contender. Weidman has beaten 3 guys who are .500 or less in the UFC, one guy who is clearly more suited for WW, and Munoz. That doesn't scream title shot to me, and definitely doesn't give me a reason to think he can beat Anderson.
And by the way, even if you are the smartest kid in the retarded class, your still retarded.

. | I agree. Theres been rumours of LWs like Maynard and Tibau weighing in at 185-190 come fight time, I see no reson why a guy who weighs 200 or so cant make 170.
Thats if this is all true n all.
