One, I did misread that as fights, but the point still stands because he has missed two flights.

Also, he actually has missed two fights because of his own stupidity. One when he refused to take the pre-fight drug test against Jay Hieron, and the second when he continuously ducked his promotional obligations for the GSP fight.

Eh, he still showed up to fight on that night, like he was scheduled.

The Hieron fight he was supposed to fight Riggs and was briefly left not knowing whether he was even still going to fight on that card or not...which likely led to him saying fuck it and getting blazed. Irresponsible...but oh well, looking back I'm not too sad we never got to see Diaz-Hieron.

He'll show up ready to fight GSP. He will probably lose a UD, but it'll be a pretty good fight imo.

He didn't make the fight with GSP. He didn't make the fight with Hieron. Whatever his reasoning was, both were direct results from his poor judgement.

Worked out better that way anyways. GSP didn't show up, Diaz did, and he put on an awesome fight in a great war with Penn in the main event.

Too bad he smokes weed which stays in your system for a long time instead of cycling a shitload of TRT like Sonnen or drug tests wouldn't be as big of an issue.
