No comprehending needed lol pretty sure he's going to board the plane, and show up to fight. And he can't be that stupid as his antics have got him an undeserved title shot/huge pay day and he gets paid a shitload more than Jon Fitch per fight who was 14-3-1 inside the octagon.

No, by and large, his talent in the cage earned him those things. His antics played a part in earning him a fanbase (increased pay), but are almost meaningless without the wins to back them up. His antics have also cost him a title-shot/huge payday, several fines, a victory, two suspensions (which mean less paydays), and earned him a reputation as a hypocritical crybaby.

What was your response when Sonnen got the title shot? Was it "$ Talks..." like it was for so many others? ...His talent, along with him being a crazy and entertaining bastard, got him where he is today. But his career isn't meaningless if he doesn't get more impressive wins to back up how much he gets paid. He's in this to make a living as well as be one of the best...whether somebody thinks he is or not.

He also fights considerably often so a 6 month and year suspension aren't as bad. Then when you consider he was getting paid 150k for his last 4 or 5 strikeforce fights, and he got paid alot more vs BJ and Condit (even with the fine), and he's going to make a very hefty amount vs GSP...missing out on a short notice fight vs Hieron, and the 1st GSP fight (which is going down in 3 weeks...he wouldn't be given a rematch anyways with a dominant victory by GSP which alot of people predict) aren't going to be detrimental to his career at all. I still think he should have handled himself differently but I don't think it's a matter of stupidity as much as it is carelessness.

Your initial joke wasn't out of place or anything. But that isn't how it's gonna go down. We are in for a fun fight imo.

He should get whatever his contract stipulates if it doesn't include first class tickets tough luck for him. Maybe he should have a word with his manager who seems to have a knack for overlooking a lot of the details.

Besides that it's not like the UFC really owes him any special favours. Flaking out on media/pr commitments, sulking post fight interviews, and getting popped for illegal substances shouldn't really earn you special perks like first class.

I think that the vast majority of them fly economy.
I think that only the big draws get business class tickets.

Looking back at this thread, we can see how many people feel bad for Nick Diaz.

We feel so bad that he scared that he has to talk to the common folk.
