He's been a constant stay in the top 10 LHW division since winning TUF. I haven't sat down and done rankings since I was kicked out of the cool kids club anyways. But irregardless where he is right now in the rankings, and he wouldn't be far removed from the top 10, he's still always been around the top 10.

Edit...and just an uber quick search Sherdog has him #9.

Glover needs to fight better competition. He has won 18 straight fights, he has 3 dominant wins in the UFC, why he is fighting Bader??

Because guys like Kyle Kingsbury, Fabio Maldonado, and Rampage were not Top 10 guys and Bader is or at least is higher on the rankings.

I have Bader right there in the 9-10 range. He is 3-3 in his last 6 but he has fought better competition than Glover. He would be a good test for Glover to test his wrestling and chin against a guy who has KO power.

I can see winner fighting the Davis/Vinny and the loser fighting Evans next.

Glover really didn't impress me last time out. Bader can really grind him out if he doesn't get ktfo in the first. We all saw how how gassed Glover was against Rampage.

Good fight, not great... Glover was kind of the odd man out after all the other matchups were made... I would have loved to see him fight Hendo, once Machida beats him... but not sure the UFC would make that fight in the first place or Dan would accept it.

If Bader tries to make it a standup battle and goes for the KO, he gets KTFO by Glover... If he actually uses a wrestling gameplan and tries to take him down, it will be an interesting fight... I have wanted to see Glover's wrestling tested.

I hope Bader gives Glover the skills test that Rampage couldn't deliver. Ultimately, Glover has a yellow brick road to the title.
