i agree with silva/soares wanting lucrative fights. but since when is AS pursuing JONES? He said he wouldnt fight jones because he "considers him a friend" before he even met him. The only fights silva is pursuing are lucrative fights...going after the short guys. he has being chasing the 5' 10" GSP for years...and when he cant get GSP..he reaches out to a movie star named cung le....hehe standing at a tall 5' 10". whos NEXT on his long list of lucrative fighters he's pursuing.....hmm...Channing Tatum from "the fighter" im tired of AS....now ALDO is doing the same. god forbid aldo fights somebody his size and skill for a change. there is huge money in rematches. GSP has made crazy money because he gives rematches. trilogys make money.

You gotta get updated man he recently said he would fight Jones later on down the road after he fights GSP (Dana's decision). The GSP super fight is a fight he has wanted years before Weidman was even in the mix (back when people had GSP up on a pedistal calling him #1 P4P).

I remember Hdnet showing GSP ahead of Silva in the P4P rankings like it was yesterday.

As always he will and against an opponent of the UFC's choosing. This is why the fight is now scheduled against Weidman instead of SF mw champion Rockhold.

If Silva underestimates Weidman or somehow isn't motivated bo fight the man he may not get run through but I don't see a victory (under those conditions). Plus the age difference between those two concerns me.

Make no mistake about it however I still think Silva is the best mixed martial artist on the planet win, lose or draw but I don't see him as this unbeatable super human either.

Anderson has said many times that he will fight Jon Jones but only after he fights GSP.

Anderson has always been staring at GSP and his name sitting at the top of P4P charts for years. There has always been a question of who would beat the other because it is not a given despite the size advantage.

GSP can take down some heavyweights.
