Olympian Henry Cejudo has signed a multi-fight deal with Gladiator Challenge. Cejudo won the gold medal in wrestling at the 2008 games at 121 pounds.
"It was very important to me to join an organization that has an established track record of helping young fighters grow into world class athletes and champions," said Cejudo. "I want to fight for a credible organization and face high caliber opponents. Gladiator Challenge is that organization.

He's set to make his bantamweight debut next month with no opponent announced. His first fight happens on March 24 at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA.

Gladiator Challenge has hosted around 150 events since 1999 with over 2,000 fights.

And he's still a young kid too. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at flyweight at some point.

He's fighting twice next month maybe that's why he's not wanting to cut a lot of weight.

Maybe. Probably more BW fighters than FLWs I would imagine, but you would probably have a better idea than me. I'm sure if he gets a call from One FC or the UFC he'd make the jump. Would he be the first Olympic gold medalist in UFC history?

Nope, Mark Schultz fought at UFC 9, Kevin Jackson won the UFC 14 MW Tourney and then fought Frank for the first UFC MW(under 200 lb) title and lost briskly.

Also, early years commentator Jeff Blatnick had a Gold Medal as well.
