This guy. | Yes, and Douglas Lima's stand up game is no joke. That was a perfect main card if you like finishes.

I think Mo believed the hype. Possibly Babalu too. They thought they were brought into Bellator to run through the tournament field of no names. As somebody already mentioned, on any given night...especially when you keep your lead hand down by your waist.

As somebody already mentioned, on any given night...especially when you keep your lead hand down by your waist. | Mo definitely believed his hype. You can tell by the way that he was fighting in this fight and the last fight: chip on his shoulder, hands down, thinking he was able to dodge the punches with head movement. He decided to put his hands up at one point after he got clipped hard, but every time he threw or dodged one punch, he would have his hands back down. I heard he is training with some elite boxers, which is probably why he thought he was a world-class striker himself. Clearly he is not.
Babalu, on the other hand, didn't look like he believed his hype. It's just that his jaw is shot at this point in his career.

All he can throw are single shot looping hooks, which he doesn't set up, oh and lets not even talk about his footwork lol. I wasn't surprised that he lost, even as akward as it was.

He was definitely picking him apart before the KO.

He fought so stupid and believed in his hands. I will never understand wrestlers who choose to stand and strike. Newton's only chance that fight was if King Mo kept it standing and guess what that is what he exactly did. If I am King Mo's coaches from here on out I hit him with a chair every time he stays standing longer then 1 minute.
It is good to have hands if you are King Mo, it is a nice back up plan. But every gameplan should just consist of "Hey lets put this guy on the mat as fast as possible then TKO him." And if you can't score a takedown at least you know he can staying standing long enough to try another takedown.
