UFC releases featherweights Diego Nunes and Milton Vieira - Bloody Elbow

Nunes was good and exciting I thought, but 11 Zuffa fights and 11 decisions doesn't help you, especially when you are doing the win 1 lose 1 thing. It's weird though because he came out of Brazil 11-0 all by finish.

smaller org's should be smiling

I have no doubt Nunes will come back to the UFC better than ever in 2 years. If not sooner.

Diego's last 3 loses were to fighters dropping to the division. Gatekeeper!

Nice observation. I still think he can turn it around and be more than that in the UFC though. Like I said, he'll be back. Wouldn't mind seeing him go to Bellator, but he's probably looking for a quicker road back to the Show.

Thing is, dropping all this talent. There is big money out there looking to get a piece of MMA. It might not be smart for some of these guys to go back to the UFC, when they can make good money and become franchise fighters in orgs like Bellator and WSOF. if things don't work out the UFC can be an option if they don't piss Dana off......

I hope this all gets divided up between onefc, bellator and wsof
