The UFC will build the 135 division and make sure they have good & marketed fighters to challenge for the title. | There is ALREADY co-promoting being done between the UFC and Invicta. Both Dana White and president of Invicta, Sharon Knapp. have worked out a deal that allows Invicta women to shuffle between the both promotions. While it's not public, it is a "behind the scenes" co-promotion.

Cyborgs fight against Gomes doesn't do much for me, rousey has already beat Gomes her very first fight I believe, and in 20 some seconds. I understand why she went to invicta but beating Gomes and possibly beating coenen for the title still doesn't impress me much and I'm not sure it really helps her in any way enough to make the UFC wanna deal with them

Invicta gets like 0 mainstream press, even in MMA circles. I seriously doubt winning a couple fights over there will garner too much attention. If she gets steady fights, that's great, but Tito's plan sounds really really stupid.
For super fights, it's best to strike when the iron is hot. Planning on a super fight a year down the road based on the outcome of 6 or so fights is so risky it's just stupidity.

Since Tito jumped off the UFC contract DW did say the fight is off the table. I'd say DW doesn't do it out of spite. haha!

He had better hope Cyborg wins, and impressively, otherwise this could quite possibly become Fedor mkII.

A win against India is nothing to scoff at.
Cyborg is considered unranked at the moment due to how long she's been out and because of the roids.
It doesn't have to be an all or nothing thing. You can watch more than 1 org, you know? Quote:

The best path is the next best organization.

"The reason I thought it was a better idea is because it's called management," Ortiz declared.

Dana said he worked out a deal with Knapp for Cyborg to do the same but Tito wanted to blaze his own path and possibly burnt that bridge for Cyborg... Who am I kidding, if the money is there, the fight will eventually happen.
On another Ortiz note, did anyone see Tito's 'self tweet' praising him on his contributions to the world of MMA? Apparently he was trying to quote a fan but it appeared he was Tweeting to himself about how he was major player in early mma success Quote:
Tito Ortiz@titoortiz
G'day Tito I'm a big fan from down under, in my opinion u made mma and UFC to what It is today.Congrats on all your success, true roll model
