riddle didn't get fired for being suspended in two out of his last three fights. He got fired for being very mediocre and getting suspended in two of his last three fights. You know how people who were happy to see that boring ol' Fitch booted because he wasn't improving and closing holes in his game? Getting suspended is just one of the holes in riddle's game that he wasn't closing.

You'd be surprised at how you rank statistically among the people who smoke. I don't have the figures in front of me, but you'd have been above the 90% when you were smoking daily, even if it was just once per day. You'd be off the chart among the average population, including the people who do not smoke.

fighters do not just get paid to show up and fight. With the advent of injury insurance, they now get paid to train. With increased testing measures--measures set by the ACs, not zuffa--they essentially get paid to follow the rules throughout the training camp, from the time the bout agreement is signed...reported sometime at the end of November/early December. If Riddle had been clean throughout that time--
or had simply applied for the exemption--he'd have passed the test.
