JDS's infinitely faster hands are going to KO Overeem regardless of what substance he would or wouldn't be on. AO's only chance is to leg-kick the shit out of JDS before he gets put to sleep.

But those speculating how a drug-free Overeem would fair already saw the consequences of the low testosterone during the weigh-ins for the fight. One blogger on MMA Freak described him as a much "softer" Overeem to the one that defeated Brock Lesnar more than two years before.

i might have been tough on my east coast brother FE1, but the facts are this...
When have been put to sleep my shogun twice, chuck, Bigfoot, Kharitonov, and guy named Bobby Hoffman whose claim to fame is beating heath herring and Ricco rodriguez, then you probably shouldn't get into a cage with your hands down. Consider himself lucky it was bigfoot, and not Cain or JDS or he might have been in a body bag.
There is no excuse with fighting with your hands down in the UFC; Especially if you've got a kinder Eggs for a chin like AO.

Strange things happen in MMA, and Overeem is a living legend in the 'strange' department so nothing would surprise me. I have no doubt that Alistair will get back on the juice, but the question is how: Does he (1) maintain risky illicit use of PEDs and cycle off to avoid pissing hot or (2) pursue a therapeutic use exemption for legal TRT? If he chooses the latter option, it would be pouring jet fuel into the inferno of 'TRT in MMA' discussions.
