What about werdum? I feel like he should be getting fights with guys like jds and as much as I love him, why the hell is he fighting big nog? He needs to fight a top 5 guy and get a title shot already (if he wins.)

Who the hell had Struve between 7-8 and what crack was that person smoking. Struve as far as I am concerned was never a Top 10 HW and anyone that argues otherwise does not understand MMA.

Fantastic argument. Very cute.

It was due to his win streaks and the fact that Big Nog, Nelson, Barnett were losing. The bottom 3 of the top 10 are very much interchangeable.

Like it or not I think Hunt is #8. Due to his wins and how shitty Nog/Nelson are looking and Barnett's unwillingness to join the UFC (inactivity).

You could Gonzaga above Struve but that would be absolutely hilarious when you look at Gonzaga's last 3 opponents.

JDS is either #2 or # 1 in the world any way you look at it and Hunt is on a 4 fight win streak. It makes perfect sense that this is a # 1 contenders match at this point in time.

IMO mine only likely I much would have preferred a Cain/JDS rematch already over a Cain/Bigfoot rematch but since that didn't happen I get to see a really killer fight between 2 bad ass HW fighter's and I don't understand how anyone could have issues with it.
