A bantamweight contest between John Albert (7-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC) and Yaotzin Meza (19-8 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is the latest addition to July's UFC on FOX 8 event.
UFC officials today announced the new booking.
Featuring a flyweight title fight between current champ Demetrious Johnson and challenger John Moraga, UFC on FOX 8 takes place July 27 at Seattle's KeyArena. The evening's main card airs on FOX following prelims on FX and Facebook.
Albert vs. Meza is expected to serve on the evening's preliminary card and is likely a must-win for both fighters.
