Tito might not be the most well known fighter, but he's at least near the top. However, there hasn't been a fighter as successful at marketing himself as Mr. Ortiz. He's an above-average fighter with world wide recognition. Must be doing something right

the fact that a fighter who isnt even a top 5 figther in the ufc is most well known dissapoints me
tito is more like a professional wrestler, bewteen the flags and all, his whole persona is fucking stupid, and just the fact that he has a persona is stupid, if more fighters were like him the ufc would be more well known by youre average american, but it would also be mroe like wwe then mma, chuck, fedor, hughes, gsp, they all come out, fight, and thats that, why is what i like the most about fighters like them

i predict that in a year or so Rampage will be the biggest (not best) MMA star around. This is when he is champ and is getting the Chuck Liddell treatment

It just seems like the 18-35 age group like that, thus making him well known. He makes himself available to ALL media outlets that request his presence, and he can articulate in front of the camera (unlike Liddell). This age group also galmorizes his relationsip with his caked on make up wearing, leather pussied significant other.

yea i knew ufc because of ken shamrock since he was in wrestling, and the second person i knew was basically tito ortiz, i guess its related because ortiz and shamrock had a wrestling-like fued
i initially hated ortiz bcuz i liked ken... but i was pretty impressed after he demolished ken... so i became a fan and became a pretty big fan when he dedicated himself to the tuf guys in tuf3... there's a lot of bs about whether it was an act or not... randy has even said that the tito u saw in tuf3 is the real tito as he has matured a lot
ortiz was a good poster boy to have bcuz of his ability to attract the fans and get them going during fights... its not only skill that makes u be remembered... its the charisma
muhammad ali was really good but the reason he's so heavily remember over any other boxer is bcuz of his charisma added with his skill

He was referring to the alleged Lee Murray incident. According to some Militech camp guys at the night club, Murray kicked Tito's ass in a London street fight.
