TNA needs to go back to 4 side, the 6 side crap is dumb

I prefer the octagon, but each to their own.
And TNA is doing it for the same reason the UFC originally did it, it sets them apart.

Sets them apart my ass. The AAA promotion in Mexico, the most prominent org as far as lucha libre goes, has been using the six-sided ring since at least the 90s.

I'm talking in the US here. How many average wrestling/USA audience knows about AAA in Mexico?

You'd be surprised how many wrestling marks know about AAA, the organization where Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio got their first big breaks, and where guys like Chris Jericho wrestled before moving onto the ECW. Not only that, but the Latino community in the U.S. all knows about AAA and their rival, FMLL.

I think the UFC should take it one step futher and issue an open achallenge to any Pro wrestler or pro Boxer to fight an upper level MMA guy in their weight class.
