I just hate all the Pride vs UFC BS. I'm a fan of both. To me it's more of the guys that you fight, not really the organization. There are great, world-class fighters in each organization. Both orgs have their positives and negatives. I'll just leave it at that.

Coleman was the HW king of PRIDE when he jumped. He won at the time the biggest almost fantasy tournament you could imagine. He had plenty of success early on, before their Heavyweight division exploded. Back when it was him, Kerr, and Vovchanchyn running the show at HW, with Herring on his way up, and Nogueira about to come in and change the whole game up.
Baroni went over and did very well considering the matches they put him in. Chonan, Minowa, Kondo....whoever else those are the one's I remember off the top of my head. For him only being in Bushido thus far, that's among the top guys they got in Bushido at his weight. He's rumored to be back in the WWGP to someone pulling out, I don't remember who - maybe Chonan, but if he's back in he'll be in there against the best of the best with Kang, Filho, etc. running around in the tourney still.

baroni's first four matches in bushido were (not in order) chonan, minowa, kondo and a rematch loss to minowa. his rumored return to the wwgp is to replace chonan who got a broken eyesocket in his match with villasenor. i kinda think it's bs to bring baroni back and not villasenor who lost a close split decision to chonan, while baroni lost a unanimous decision to misaki.

He lost at Total Elimination ,but at Critical Countdown he KOed Yoshiki Takahashi in 36 seconds. After just losing 3 out of his last 5 fights and the Randy fight didn't really count so he lost 3 out of last 4 fights.Coieman left the UFC b/c he was on 3 straight losing streak in the UFC.He then went to pride and had a 6 fight win streak.Baroni left the UFC b/c he was on a 4 fight losing streak he than went to pride and won 3 straight fights. | look at wands record, after he lost to vitor he went to IVC and then came back to UFC and won, then he went to pride. A LOSING STREAK IS LOSING 3 OR MORE FIGHTS IN A ROW. Vitor went to pride as a winner in UFC so what are you talking about, he was 5-1 then he went to pride and was 4-1 and then returned to the UFC. So he didnt goto pride on a losing streak either. I have already talked about coleman and baroni, they left because UFC cracked down on roids, my opinion

Both leagues have had guys go the other way and do better. Neither league is hands down "better" than the other. That said, UFC is doing itself no favors (in terms of being viewed as having legit badasses) by crowding its ranks with these TUF dorks. | thank you
