"i gotta think right now, Tim Sylvia has an advantage over him"

dude are you serious? the sad part is he probably wasn't joking, he's just that stupid. dana probably freaked out for metioning pride to. fedor probably doesn't even see anyone in the UFC with his UFC hater blockers on.
I hate everone employed by the UFC anymore. they are just so damn stupid. I really hope that for better or for worst that fedor come to the UFC one day and smashes everyone in the cage

hes just talkin smack thats what the UFC does, they talk smack about other organizations and sports.. its all fine unless of course Rogan thins Sylvia can beat Fedor then were gonna have to drug test him.

truly sad that some people, without knowing who fedor is,or what pride is about, still blatantly air their opinions about UFC v. Pride. What happened to Leben should happen to more UFC fighters. Bullshit like that from people like rogan wont ever stop until they see for themselves that 9 out of ten times a pride quality fighter would beat a UFC quality one. (with the exception of Huges, Franklin and Liddell) They stand a legit chance, but there wont be any walkovers . . .

The problem comes from a lot of UFC fighters who are on a lossing streak go to Pride & start racking up wins. UFC nuthuggers then assume that the competition in Pride is poor in comparison.

This should soon all be academic as I've a feeling a lot of Pride fighters will be jumping ship soon with all the mafia investigations & so on into DSE affairs.

1st of all Sylvia wouldn't stand a chance with Fedor with that being said.Pride has way better HW's I'll give them that.LHW's pretty even ,but i'd give a slight edge to the UFC(this was made easier by the fact that rampage left) MW is pretty even/Henderson is better than Ace IMO ,but the UFC has more depth than pride,WW-no contest UFC dominates,LW the UFC is just starting out and already has a phenominal division.I'm tired of everyone saying Pride is so much better than the UFC.They're both good.The only thing pride really has over the UFC is the HW divsion. I doubt that 9 out of ten Pride fighters would beat a UFC guy.Maybe in the HW division ,but just choosing a guy at random from the UFC and a guy at random from Pride and you'll probably have a pretty even match up.

UFC doesn't have a better LHW division than Pride, if anything they are even. Wand, Shogun, Arona, Lil Nog, and Alistair Overeem are a better 5 than any 5 you could put together with UFC.

I said pretty even.yeah I guess your right pride does have a better LHW division. The UFC's LHW has been dwindling ever since Randy retired and Vitor left.

Yep, the UFC used to have a bad ass LHW division, Pride also. Neither are really stacked right now, but the UFC really only has Chuck, Babalu ,and Tito that could contend with the top Pride guys right now. I'd like to see Vera drop down to 205, that would make things interesting in the UFC.
