Although they are both currently pride fighters, I'm considering them under the American weight classes. I honestly think the weight classes are more responsible under the American standard. And similar to me never considering Riggs as an actual 170, Gomi and Diaz are too strong and too large for 155 IMO. Hence, they are my favorite WW's, aint that the beauty of a free country.
Heck, then make them both my favorite Lights and GSP my favorite WW instead if we're sticking to tecnicalities.

"Light Heavyweight
Shogun: Intellectual"
I agree that Shogun is the stuff. But who has tested him? A flailing Overeen twice? A little nog who has been exposed as exploitable? A second round Arona? An emotionally and mentally destroyed Jackson?
I Honestly believe he would beat most of these guys again (he is my favorite 205 besides Chucky, despite his recently lazy itinerary), but Chucks possum and KTFO style has proved to be as reliable as Shoguns recent wins.
These two are the match-up for the ages!
I got Chuck!

Overeem is no joke. Lil' Nog lost to Souk, but that doesn't mean he's been "exposed". Lil' Nog is still an incredible fighter. Shogun defeated a second round Arona...this is the second round Arona who had so much momentum after defeated Wanderlei Silva. I'm not sure if Rampage was emotionally and mentally destroyed.
