Don't know why anyone would get offended by anything said it was CLEARLY joking. Some people claim to have all this pride of their heritage but they don't know the first thing about it. I've asked so many PR's around here that wear the jerseys, sport the flag, and all that other stuff what makes them so proud to be PR. Most of them have no logical answer just shit like i'm boriqua papi! I can ask almost all of them a question about a crucial point in time that you can't find that answer to on google that has to do with the flag and they won't know but they'll claim to be hardcore puerto rican pride. I love my culture and people and can joke about it as well. But i can also be embarassed by it at times just like everyone else with their respective cultures. People need to get a sense of humor and not take stuff to heart that isn't meant to be.
