People need to get over this already. Tito WON!!! all the Tito haters need to realize that. Ken wasn't screwed. Herb did a good job as a ref, looked out for Ken's safety, and saved him from yet another horrible beating at the hands of Tito! 5 unanswered elbows...a few more and Ken may have been in a coma. did everyone wanna see something like that happen to Ken? i wanted to see Tito whoop that ass like a lot of people, but didn't wanna see Ken get killed or anything. Good call Herb! you did your job well. maybe Ken will save whatever legacy he has left and finally retire...but i doubt it...

Point is shamrock was screwed cos it was stopped early, and some people say well if it continued then he might have been knocked out in twenty more seconds well thats what should have happened then, Herb dean is not Shamrocks dad and he should have allowed shamrock the same latitude he gives to every other fighter whose fights he referrees

well said.That's what I've been trying to tell people.I've never seen a fight stopped b/c of a few short elbows!It's laughable how anyone could defend that stoppage.

What you guys don't get is the ref couldn't possibly treat Ken like any other fighter...his face, skull, and brain are seriously damaged goods from being pounded to a pulp way too many times before...and the mere fact that the guy was in the the octagon trying to take on Tito is proof positive that he has no sense left in his freakin' head.

If you study Shamrock closesly you can easily tell the guy is punch-drunk....and any fool knows you can only get hit in the head or face so many times before it starts causing a permanent lasting effect.

This fight should have never been made in the first place...because Tito could have easily killed Shamrock if he wanted to.

Tito never wanted this fight, tried to get out of it, and thankfully got it over quick without hurting Shamrock too bad.

This was a fight that Dana wanted just to make money for Zuffa regardless of the dangers to Ken...knowing damn well doofus old Ken's ego wouldn't allow him to turn it down....and Tito had no choice but to agree to this fight if he ever wanted to get back into the UFC and get a chance to get his old belt back.

This is how Dana does business...money first and fighters last.

Im only new on here but i saw the PPV as well and i know i wont be making alot of friends on here by saying this but i think Herb made the right decision,i mean face it anyone who saw the fight knows that ken was clearly rocked and even if herb let it go 10-20 seconds more there jus would have been 10-15 more unanswered elbows, read the article on sherdog herb,dana and the athletics commision all beileve it was a proper stoppage so lets jus put it in the past and stop hating on herb cuz he aint going no wheres, one thing i do agree on tho is that there will be a ken and tito 3 where tito beats kens head into mush again and ken still doesnt ritire because hes on a "respect" powertrip, it will prolly happen once ken gets more health insurance

Regardless if the fight was stopped too early or not,Shamrock would still get his ass whopped.I am not a Tito fan but to be fair he won that fight and if Herb Dean didn't stop the fight Shamrcok would be in a coma right now.
