WIth Sylvia's unfortunate win, wtf is gonna happen to the HW division?? Mir sucks so bad he can hardly lay and pray the janitor at Mandalay Bay, Arlovski will probably leave and there's noone else. Vera is promising, but young. Monson is overrated and too short to do anything. Maybe Ricco will come back. Any big guys who like to fight ...... looks like the UFC is hiring.

I don't want him to leave, I love Arlovski! But you lose to the champ twice in a row and you're probably never gonna get another title shot as long as Sylvia holds the belt. So then what do you do? I think maybe Pride or the WFA may be getting themselves a fantastic new HW soon.

he's not going to drop down, he'd have to lose like 30 pounds and he'd lose too much muscle to be himself. plus, i dont think he'd be able to take out chuck or wandy in LW, so he'd get right back into the same problem.

but people are going to start paying attention to the HW division more because monson's next and he will beat sylvia and then vera's probably next.

they'll keep arlovski around, he has too much fan appeal. like when UFC gets tired of putting mir on PPVs they'll have andrei destroy him to build his ranking back up. they'll probably put him in a few squash fights too because people will pay to see him.

Arlovski could have easily defeated sylvia if he took it to the ground.

Arlovski could theoreticaly get another shot at the belt by this time next year.

I still think Mir will be a fighter to be reckoned with.......

Monson, as a submission artist (and one of the best at that) will most certainly be taking Sylvia to the ground where his reach advantage will rapidly become a leverage disadvantage. Win by submission in rd 1.

Arlovski is insane for refusing vairy his game - I'll agree with you there.
