This is total rumor so dont crucify me if its b.s but a friend in vegas says he is close to a ufc matchmaker(js). and that the proposal on the table between pride and ufc is like this. To help pride in the u.s market the october show called Pride invasion (if all is worked out will be)

Fedor v/s arlovski

Shogun v/s tito

Hendo v/s tanner

Ninja v/s forrest

Nog v/s vera.

This is what he say is proposed. Pride brass whats some household names to introduce their product.

The Ufc show will be called worlds collide and will envolve into a Super bowl, wrestlemania type yearly event. the matches proposed.
Wand v/s liddell

Sylvia v/s mirko

Franklin v/s baroni

Hughes v/s gomi

Monsoon v/s fajita.

This is all from a friend i vegas and it may be B.S but he swears by th info he says the details are being hammered out.

If this happens it is truly a MMA fans dream come true.

The news that arlovski needs surgery kind of shots the pride main event in the foot but will have to wait and see.

I highly doubt all that comes off. Let's not get expectations to the point where this thing is a disappointment. Just the fact that they're working together and one or two matches seem like a lock already is enough to make me a happy MMA fan.

those sound great, except Fedor/AA. AA needs to prove something and if he fought Fedor he'd lose and get pushed back even further. also, the UFC card(minus crocop/sylvia) sucks compared to the Pride card

For years everyone dreams of a Pride/UFC crossover when Silva faces Liddle, now we (potentially) have it, it's not enough. We want Fedor Vs Arlovski & Tito Vs Shogan.

Whatever they settle on is fine by me as long as Liddle & Silva fight in November!

The thing is that Pride might need some help from UFC now, to get into the US market. With all this shit with yakuza they might need some help from a foe to recover.
