dunno if anyone knows this yet not that big but...a friend of a friend of mine who knows chuck lidell...said chuck told him the emelianenko brothers really wanna come to the ufc.....but the dont wanna split up and fedor is too important to pride...so i think sumthin big is gonna go down soon......aleksander would be unstopable in the octagon 3 minute rounds damn. but he has no ground game. still think he'd beat chuck tho.
heard sumthin bout that loser sapp too but wasn't payin attention.

UFC rounds are 5 minutes. but still, that'd be awesome if the emelianenko bros. came. especially fedor. if UFC had Fedor THEN ufc would have a HW division.

If the UFC had Fedor they'd have the p4p best fighter in the world with no one to challenge him.Pride would still have more depth though.

a friend of a friend of a friend of mine who know bullshit said this rumor is so stupid its not even funny. there is nothing the ufc can offer that would be better for fedor in anyway. the only company with a chance to steal him is k1.

and what money is that? they cant pay him close to what pride and k1 can pay him per fight. for one fight maybe then could pay him a comprable amount but not over the life of his contract. he would be they highest payed fighter by far if they gave him a contract comprable to pride.

Also what's this about Aleksander not having a ground game? He tapped out Olympic Judo gold medalist Pawel Nastula in the 1st round. He's a 2 time Russian Sambo National Champion and 2 Sambo World Champion in the Absolute division.

Just because he was submitted once in his career doesn't mean he has no ground game lol

I wasn't referring to a long-term contract, just a couple fights like Wand....guess I should have specified. If the ufc can get the best lhw for a few fights, why not the hw? :confusedsmilie:

Maybe true Pride pays there fighters espacially there great ones very good money.
