Not Sherdog - a much smaller forum, and it was not presented as a profound discovery at all, more as an aside in a different topic. I believe it, but get the feeling this one will bite me on the ass lol. Take it or leave it - it's still an interesting matchup to call.

Rich Franklin is coming out of a long layoff due to injuries and needs a tune-up fight. Anderson Silva is a hot commodity right now and putting him in with Franklin right now would be far too risky when they can just line up another can for him to crush in the meantime. Your friend is probably just speculating like everyone else; I don't see this fight happening right away.

I would heavily favor Franklin, everyone is do jazzed up about Silva after the Leben fight. Franklin is so underappreciated its ridiculous. He has to many tools for Silva to handle.

Its so retarded Leben sucks wasnt even good enough to win the show, Silva is good , but Leben is not even a cont. In the division.

I couldn't agree with you more Rhino, Franklin is one of the most underappreciated / underestimated champs of all time... Everyone is always quick to dog him for some reason when he never shits the bed and is always ready to fight...

i agree completely leben is a punk and when ever he fights anyone thats half way decent he will get knocked out again and again!!!! i dont think silva shouldnt get a title fight already. i can see it now another nate the rock quarry! getting nocked out and not to be seen for a long time.

4 sure franklin a fuckin g!!! and yeah silva is good but i think rich would pick him apart... does anyone think anderson silva can take loiseau... i personally dont think he would...that would be a good fight though!!!

I do the Crow is not that good. He is good at beating weaker opponents , but we saw how weak he was fighting Rich, he doesnt have it mentaly . He had a confidence fighting weak opp, but not when it came down to a champ fight. Silva could beat him.
