A lot of people on here have said they do not like Tito Ortiz. I think the main reason is his attitude and arrogance. Let's face it, he is a shit starter and has a big mouth. He is good for the UFC for promotional purposes and until he starts losing on a regular basis by wide margins, he belongs as a fighter.

Pre-fight, the guy is a total dick. He predicts he will embarrass every opponent and shit down their throat after he does it.

Post fight, he celebrates just as the other fighters do (running around like a chicken with their head cut off), but he shakes the hand of the loser (other than Lion's Den fighters) and more importantly, he gives proper credit to people that beat his ass. The Couture fight is a perfect example. Christ, he was crying and he still had the balls to stay in the ring for the judges announcement and gave all the respect to him.

Another thing that I like about him is that he gave his best effort to the fighters during TUF3.

I admit I am just getting in to the deeper parts of MMA, and if I am wrong, tell me.

Tito is a overall great guy, ofc he talks smack pre-fight, but who doesnt......

Tito showed respect to Randy b/c Randy spnked him.He got totally domianted for 5 straight rounds.When something like that happens you shut your mouth b/c you have no other choice.Tito showed no respect to Wand after he beat him either and he's not a lions den fighter.Tito is a peice of shit.He ducks fights,stole tanks nickname,pushes women down to the grounda nd cries like a little baby when he loses.

The Ultimate Fight Season 3 show totally changed my opinion of him. I used to hate him, but I actually like him now. I think Chuck knocking his ass out brought him back down to earth a little bit.

I did not see the fight or the post fight interviews after the Wanderlai (sp?) fight. What exactly did he say?

What fights has he ducked? I saw in another post the list of fighters he has faced recently, and it was pretty impressive. Who has he ducked?

As for stealing Tank's name, well...yeah... kind of cheap and I think it may have been forced on him by the UFC after Tank lost his edge. Isn't Tank kind of washed up now?

As for crying, well....I imagine fighting is an emotional experience just like any other major event (sporting or ptherwise). I find no fault with the guy for losing and crying. Every other sport (basketball, football, etc...) people cry when they win and lose. In my opinion, he is no less of an athlete for it.

Fighters talk, all fighters think they are great, and better than their opponents...otherwise they wouldn't be in there.....I've gained a lot of respect for Tito over the last year...still don't love the guy, but I sure the hell respect him.....Tito just can't win with certain people in here....like I said elswhere when Tito was criticized for Fighting Griffin again....."Tito always chooses weaker opponents".....but the same people would be all over him for "Ducking" forrest if Tito said he didn't want to fight him again.....he just can't win........and as for him disrespecting other fighters, how about most people's God in here, Wanderlai Silva....Great fighter, don't get me wrong....but jumping into the ring and giving Rampage a 2 handed shove, all because Rampage was the # 1 contender....that is classless in my books.

I'm telling you what I saw on the fight channel, if they didn't show everything, my bad, but what I saw was Rampage beating Randalman, taking the mic and telling Silva he was the #1 contender and he was coming after Silva's belt....no big deal, but the "missing link" Silva jumped into the ring and shoved Rampage, from what I saw, with no provacation.
