Breaking News: TUF 5 To Be 155lb Weight Class ONLY!
 

Dana White confirmed this past weekend that the reality hit TUF 5 will be strickly for 155lb fighters. UFC is attempting to get that weight class off the ground. They probably should do the same with the Heavyweight division.

Should be entertaining.....yes the heavyweight division needs a REAL shot in the arm......

Jens Pulver is going to be one of the coaches.

How many TUFs are there gonna be? This is the first im hearing about 5.

The Lightweight division is overloaded. The HEAVYWEIGHT division is the weight class that needs something like this the most. Lightweight already has Sean Sherk, Jens Pulver, Kenny Florian, Joe Stevenson, Yves Edwards, Spencer Fisher, Hermes Franca, Mark Hominick, Jorge Gurgel, Melvin Guillard, maybe even B.J. Penn going back down. And that's a list with me probably leaving some out that don't directly come to mind.

I definitely heard about Pulver coaching 5, so the Lightweight rumor makes sense. Where did Dana confirm this at?

UFC signed a big deal with Spike.There'll be several more TUFs.

I wonder whose going to be the TUF 5 coaches? Maybe Tim Sylvia? Or maybe have one of the former coaches do it again, like what Randy Coutore. Too bad Andrei Arlovski can't do it. Probably the reason why Dana White has not offered him its because of his English. Being a coach of course you need to properly communicate with your trainees.

Jens is going to be one of the coaches.The other coach will probably be the LW champ.At the end of the season the 2 will fight.That's what is probably going to happen.

Thats cool , I like it better when the coach's fight. I wish Hughes and Franklin would have fought. They could have met in the middle with there weights. You know that fight will never happen though.

wow sounds liek a sweet season...why not have pulver and penn as the coaches....if florian wins the title, could he really be a coach???

But the leightweight division already has depth....this will make it the most competitive division in the UFC...if it already isn't
