| ramslakers1 | 07-13-2006 07:51 AM | Fighter nicknames I was just thinking of some fighter nicknames and I just have some thoughts about them.
)Tim Sylvia "Maine-iac"-He's from Maine, thats the only reason why he has that nickname...other than that he talks too much shit.
)Stephan Bonnar "American Psycho"-Doesn't fight like one, He is indeed American but, an American whack job.
)Rich Franklin "Ace"-I heard he got his nickname coz' he looks like Jim Carrey from Ace Ventura...I just didn't see the resemblance.
)Wanderlei Silva "Axe Murderer"-Thats kinda brutal...he does indeed fight brutal, it fits him perfectly.
)Chuck Liddell "Ice Man"-Shows little emotion in the ring..does fit him as well.
)Mirko Filipovic "Cro-Cop"-He got the nickname because of the obvious reason, he used to be a Police Officer...in Croatia.
)Mauricio Rua "Shogun"-I saw him fight 2-3 times and he does cut off his oppoents with his vicious fists.
)Maurilo Rua "Ninja"-He's a fat ass...don't know why he's called Ninja.
)Ken Shamrock "World's most dangerous man"-Even in his prime, he's not that dangerous...I even consider Chuck and Wanderlei more dangerous..."World's most dellusional man" is more like it...Shamrock retire already everyone has been defeating. Kristian Roethermel might even beat the hell out of you.
)Kristian Roethermel "Weather Underground"-This is the most stupidest nickname. Whats that anyway? Didn't make sense to me. He is the worse fighter ever. Like Tito Ortiz said...he does not have any conditioning skills or whatsoever. His record is very questionable..40-4? Thats bullshit...he has a better record than any of the great fighters? Better than the legends like Royce Gracie, Dan Severn, and Shamrock? He has an even better record than the veterans like Dan Frye, Liddell, and Randy Coutore...baloney. He needs to leave MMA and go to pro-acting/wrestling. |
