i really hate to say it, but i feel swick has a pretty good shot |
i still dont see franklin losing to any of those guys, yet. very good competition will help make them all better in the long run |

I think Nate "Rock" Quarry is next up......wait, we tried that one, didn't we......LMFAO. Do you guys think the best fighter should get a shot, a la Anderson Silva, or someone who's been in the UFC longer. Silva's new to the UFC, but fought in Japan, but Swick has been kickin some ass. I say Silva vs. Swick, winner gets Franklin. P.S. Swick hasn't been kickin' ass long enough to name rename a submission...."Swickotine"?!?! |
Don't forget about Marquardt, he's in those runnings as well |
Lister Should Be Next In Line Dean lister should have no problem going through his next opponent at UFN August 17. This victory should put him in a great position to go after Franklin. With the ease that Lister went through Sakara, it is being said that Franklin will be facing a very, very difficult opponent in Lister. |

I'd like the UFC to give Franklin a tune up match before he fought any of those guys, just so ring rust isn't the reason he would lose the title... I think the UFC should schedule Swick, A.Silva, Marquardt and Lister in separate fights and go from there depending on the results.. In a perfect world only two would win and you could have a #1 contenders match but of course that wouldn't happen... I don't think Silva should get a shot right away since he just joined the UFC (despite his record in other companies)... I'm not sure who should get the first shot, but I think a healthy Franklin would be a heavy favorite in most of these matches. |
