Default Strikers Vs. Submissions

Im a big fan of Submissions. I like to see a man get humilated by getting submitted i like to watch a guy have to give up admit defeat by a choke or a Broken arm elbow any main limb. I think Strikers are probably more exciting to watch but i think it takes true skill to make a man Give up what are your takes?

I like submission guys better.always have.I like the technique invovled in catching a guy in a sub.Often times you'll see fights in which a fighter is taking some shots than just winds up and throws a haymaker to ko his opponent or guys that just come out and throw fast and hard with no real technique to ko people.with submissions it really is only about who has more skill.

That's a hard choice. I love watching fighters go for submissions because it shows skill & timing. A bit of art in the sport.

But then I do love seeing someone get knocked spark-o as well.

If I had to choose it would be submissions if I'm watching TV & striking if i'm watching live.

on that night yes.gsp made a mistake hughes didn't.hughes was able to capitalize on the mistake and he went home with the belt around his waist. GSp is going to fuck hughes up in the rematch and was obviously the better fighter in that fight untill he maid a mistake.

I like MMA. It depends on who I'm watching, if I'm watching CroCop I can say hooked up to a lie detector test that I prefer watching striking when watching MMA fights. Then again if I'm watching Nogueira or Sakuraba doing their thing, I'll swear I prefer submission guys. It really depends on who I'm watching. In general, I'd be lieing if I didn't admit that when watching an MMA event LIVE, in person or on PPV/TV, I prefer striking. There's more drama and more at stake. Submissions is a lot technical and skill, but with striking anything can happen at anytime despite someones skill level. When hands, knees, elbows, and feet are flying back and forth shit happens. It's always fun to see what's going to happen in those instances.

I didnt think GSP was losing the first fight with Hughes.. GSP's Base is really strong even Matts Wrestling wasnt holding down GSP. GSP is a Freakin monster that was his one mistake as a youngster.

I never said GSP was getting dominated he was dominating hughes untill he made a mistake.and gsp will win the rematch ,but on that night hughes was better.he got the victory regardless of the circumstances.

Striking can be very Fun... It can Be very Exciting to watch.. and knowing what your opp if hes also a striker is when you get some good Banging going on... Knowing what kind of puncher a guy is alot of what has made Chuck Liddell the fighter he is... his crazy ability to Counter punch and make them eat shins or whatever limb he chooses to use its very exciting to watch... Im a Liddell fan
