Thanks Matt.
Doesn't seem like that much of a big announcement seen as Hughes already had this in his Blog. Good to see the UFC getting some mainstream attention though.
Should be an awesome fight, did they say when its gonna happen??

Hold the front page, Hughes is gonna fight GSP again, that's right the no1 contender is going to fight the champion!!!
I am shocked!!!
Listen they could have announced that at UFC61.
Major announcements are Silva fighting Liddle in November. At least they would have had the oppotunity on ESPN to show some of Silva for the UFC only fans.
Wasn't exactly ground breaking news. I've only seen clips of the original fight, looked pretty close. Who do you think has the better chance this time round??

It's not a groundbreaking announcement but why give a groundbreaking announcement to an audience that largely doesnt watch MMA. I'm just glad they are talking about the UFC on ESPN.
The fact that the announcement wasn't anything big makes the segment that much more important. If ESPN is going to make a "big announcement" that we've all known for how long now, it shows that MMA is being recognized and that fights such Hughes/GSP are worth ESPN's time to talk about... This was a huge day for MMA.
