I agree he has the skills to hold both and if Fedor hasn't lost in the next 2 years, he might be the one to actually hand him that L. He's the only guy I've seen that has the transition game to compete with Fedor. That's where fighters get clipped by him, in the transition. The transition game is so overlooked by alot of people but that's what is going to give guys the edge in the future and IMO, Vera's transition game is 2nd to none in MMA right now.

I would pick Vera over Chuck every day of the week. What can Chuck do in this fight, Vera better striker, faster, way better MT, good wrestling, alot better on the ground. IMO Vera is Chucks worst nightmare.

If Chuck beats Rampage and Shogun still is staying put then Vera should definatly start at 205. He might end up being the only contender left that Chuck hasn't beaten

I have to dissagree there, no way does brandon vera even deserve a title shot at HW, let alone dropping down to lhw and getting an auto titleshot??

hes seriously like what 4-0 in the UFC? big wins over sherner and mir?nomatter which weight he tends to stay at i still think he needs a few good wins before he gets any titleshot. now if vera came in and KTFO out of CC in the first round by a devestating LHK, then yea i'd say hes deffinatly earned it, but two tko's over mediocre fighters at best isnt titleworthy,

people seem to think this with rashad to, two tko wins over lambert and salmon and people think he's gonna wreck chuck.

IMO you need big wins over big people to get a titleshot,

Vera was in line to get a title shot at HW before the managing fiasco. He dominated Scherner, and dominated Mir, and dominated Assuerio Silva (took Kongo & Sylvia all fight and they didn't finish him), and KO'd Justin Eilers immediately (much faster than AA or Sylvia did), so it's not just his record it's his domination up to this point over quality opponents.

If Chuck beats Rampage who would that leave at LHW for Chuck to beat? Rashad? Machida? Vera is the best, and most deserving fighter possible if Chuck beats Rampage and they don't bring in a top Pride import at LHW.

No, I didn't say he deserved an instant title shot. I just said he should move to 205 and if he did has well as he has done at HW he could quickly find himself a serious contender

I think he was talking about me, I said he would deserve an instant shot at LHW because of the reasons stated in my previous post.
