what makes Kenny a top LW? Besides he was on the TUF show. The dude is 4-2 with his biggest win being Sam Stout.

That post is from the real Kenny Florian. Fighters post on The UG (AKA The Underground AKA mma.tv) all the time. The sport until recently has been 99% underground, and fighters used to use forums and message boards to get fights or challenge people or get hold of promoters, sponsors, or just talk to their fans since - again until recently, all the fans of the sport were online. Royce Gracie posted on The UG before his recent fight with Matt Hughes, Jason Mayhem Miller posts there a lot, Phil Baroni, Tito Ortiz even posts there sometimes. Definitely the real Kenny Florian, in fact his real life fighting nickname came from his username/screenname on MMA.TV (AKA The UG, AKA The Underground) which is "KenFlo"

I'm sorry, but am I the only one on here that can see the message from Ken Florian was him being sarcastic towards all the people who have posted on the UG forum slagging him off saying that he was chicken shit for passing on the Sherk fight.

First let me say, it saddens me that I don't get a chance to come on here that often anymore. I hear the discussions have definitely evolved over the years and there is no longer trash talk or conspiracy theories about the major MMA organizations or fighters. I also hear there are a tremendous amount of UFC and fighter insiders here. The respect here for fighters that put there lives on the line and train so hard for all of us when they fight is also amazing. I was on this forum when it first started and I feel bad that one of my last posts here has to be this one but here it goes . . .
Well, it looks like I screwed up. I lost my chance at a title because I was scared to fight Sherk. I apologize to Sherk for being scared but I have to be honest with myself. Like you guys, I am very impressed with Sherk's physique and I am pretty scared about what Sherk supporters have been saying. When I was talking to Sherk's guys the other day (they personally handle my fight decisions with the UFC) they were telling me how quickly Sherk will destroy me. I gotta admit, I was scared and I had to come up with some excuses to not fight him. I told the UFC I could not fight and now, not only am I out of the title shot, but I probably can't fight at all in the UFC anymore. I have to apologize to the good fans of this sport and hopefully, I will find my competitive spirit again. To the real fighters out there like Nick Thompson (aka, kidpresentable) I admire your courage and hope to one day follow in your mighty footsteps.

I guess it is back to the minor leagues for now. I will work hard and find my way back in the UFC. I just did not want my record to be tarnished. I care about my record too much. I do not like challenges and I really just do this to have a good record, look semi-cool and have something to brag to the chicks about. Quite frankly, I never really had any type of passion for doing this and I never took any risks in my life to do what I am doing now. I am hoping I will find the strength and skills to come back and fight in the UFC and not be afraid to fight a guy like Sherk.

I am going to go watch some John Wayne movies and subscribe to Muscle & Fitness in an attempt to get more courage and possibly get some more fans. What guys don't like John Wayne and muscles right??!! I want to thank the best MMA organization in the world, the UFC for all they have done for the sport and hopefully, I can come back and fight for them again one day. I thank you all for the support and good training to all of you.

Honestly guys, I am just having some fun on here. Sherk is a great fighter and we will fight soon but not in August. An official announcement on what will happen will be made eventually. To be able to fight a fighter like Sherk is a great honor and to fight for a title is an even bigger one. I can't wait for this to go down and I know we will have a fantastic fight. Both Sherk and I look to finish fights and we will have a good and fast paced fight. How could anyone not respect Sherk? I hope Kenflo can some how pull out a victory against Sherk.The only real chance I see him having though is to connect with one of his sharp elbows.This fight will probably end up like Diego/kenflo ,but I'm still going to be rooting for Kenflo he's fucking awesome.

bj would not beat matt in a rematch, matt said that he took the fight lightly and was asking for a rematch ever since that loss, the only welterweights that r better then penn r gsp and matt hughes, and in the lightweight devisoin he is probably the best, but he might have some good competition between sherk and pulver.
