| Griffin/Bonner
In my opinion i think this is a bad idea. Yea their first fight was awesome, but Bonner hasn't impressed me since that fight. UFC is billing Foresst as the nest big thing, then why have him fight Bonner again, have him fight another top LW. Yea he lost to Tito, yea Tito was hurt, but he didn't give up. Tito wanted him again, I think Tito/Forrest 2 wouldve been more exciting. Or have him fight Evans who beat Bonner, why have him fight Bonner again, win Bonner should be 0-2 in his last 2 fights, because Jardine won the fight and he lost to Evans. Sorry Bonner but you shouldnt be fighting Griffin right now.

After seeing Bonnar against Evans, he does not impress me much. Like you said, they had a war the first time but who has Bonner really fought to deserve another chance at Griffin. I'm with you. I think they should have Griffin fight someone else. But it will probably generate alot of revenue because alot of people out there are going to remember the slug fest they had the first time

Yep, Bonnar is a dead man in this fight, I see a 2nd rd TKO for Forrest.

the ufc is trying to cash in on the rematch while they still can. bonnar is on a downswing and no one knows when (or if) he'll start winning again. if he keeps losing, he's out of the ufc and they've lost on a pretty big rematch that they can make money off of.
if the two put on an entertaining fight, even of bonnar loses, he'll have a bit more steam that the ufc can use... he could end up being the gateway for other tuf lhws (or light-heavys in general. ala sinocic), helping the ufc put over guys as they step up in the division.
maybe another fight with griffin will get him back into the groove, but if the ufc put bonnar up against anyone other than forrest in his next fight and stephan lost, he's pretty much at the bottom of the lhw barrell and no one, not even "tuf newbs" will care about a rematch with griffin.

You know I actually feel really bad for Bonnar. I never was a huge fan of his, but he's really lost his motivation after Carlson Gracie passed away.
I think that he really needs to take some time to get with another fight team and refocus. He's obviously not improving much over his last two fights. Against Rashad he didn't even look like he wanted to be there.
I like Bonnar as a person and seemed to have a lot of heart in his earlier fights. He has the tools to be right in the middle of the division, let's hope he can refocus.
