first off I find bodog fight fairly boring. Plus they stand up the fighters way too much when they are on the ground. I usually switch between that and the IFL when I watch. Anyway last night (05/12) bodog fight featured a female fight and I usually woud check that out over a mens fight because it's not as common and the women just don't give a shit. They're there to fight. But last night the women's fight had some english woman (can't remember her name.. Sexton I think ) and a Japanese woman , Windy Tomiko(?). Anyway towards the end of round 2 I think, they were on the ground and they eventually scrambled their way back to their feet with Sexton hanging on the Windy's waist and Widy was basically just trying to get away. Both were facing the same direction and Sexton had her in waist and tried to drag her down, and she did but inadvertently sat on Windy's ankle while doing so and you just hear a crack and next thing you knw Sexton gets up, you see Windy screaming in pain and her ankle is just hanging there bent to the side. Shit was horrible. I had to switch back to IFL right after that. I can't stand seeing that stuff.

in the next "episode" (its just the next few minutes after the commercial) they show slo-mo replays and zoom in and shit, that fucker was a compound, reminds me of Chong Li in Bloodsport, lol

good god that was awful..i could hardly watch that

Last night was a replay from a couple of days ago. After seeing the ankle, I had to look her up. It turns out it was "only" a dislocated ankle, not a compound fracture. She tore ligaments as well.

Bodog has actually had a couple of good fights in the last two weeks, after MONTHS of boring shit. Hopefully the trend will continue.

it sure looked like it was coming out of the skin, but thats good that it wasn't a break, still nasty as hell though

yeah the fights are getting better, but imagine fighting outside in Costa Rica, those guys were gassed early
