I'd like to see Swick get a title shot and have Nate v Anderson Silva fight for a #1 contenders spot.

Deadboy 07-19-2006 02:00 PM

Karo.

Swick Ain't Ready For No Title Shot. He Will Get His Ass Handed To Him. Don't Get Me Wrong, I Like Swick He's Young, Agressive, Fun To Watch, But He Just Is Not Ready For A Title Shot. Let See Him Fight Leben, Who Knocked Him Out Ii Might Ad And See How He Does. I Think Chris Leben Will Ko Him Again.

I Think If Leben Fights Anderson Again And Doesn't Come In So Agressive With His Chin In The Air , He Will Beat Anderson.

Lister

Dean Lister.... You have to know that this guy is bound to be a superstar if he has fighters like Tito Ortiz asking Lister to train them.

NinjaShogunRua 07-19-2006 02:33 PM

I like Dean Lister, but 30 years old isn't young IMO.

For young guys I'd go with Melendez, Faber, Tyson Griffin, Aleksander, and Shogun

BigJoe111 07-19-2006 07:08 PM

What about Florian or Stevenson now that they are both at their ideal weight? You can't forget Brandon Vera, I don't know how old he is, but he is young to MMA and he'd kick the crap out of Sylvia. But the best is GSP bar none don't even try to argue with it.

Dominus 07-19-2006 08:28 PM

Brandon Vara, Dean Listor, and Mike Swick are three top fighters that will make a move very soon. I think Swick needs to step it up to a new level, but Vara and Lister will have a belt in the near future.

BigJoe111 07-19-2006 08:33 PM

Swick, come on there are at least five guys in that division who would wipe the mat with him, Louisseau, Franklin, Dewess, Tanner, and Salaverry, maybe even Baroni if he would take the fight.

Dominus 07-19-2006 08:34 PM

Leben isn't at the level of Anderson, and that was really proven. If there is a rematch Leben will loose, maybe not as quickly, but he will loose with no doubt in anyones mind that would watch that bout. UFC can make fighters look tough, but point proven when a different guy comes in from outside UFC and hands them their ass. That is exactly what happened with Leben.
