| PPV buyrates for UFC 71?
Has anyone seen any reliable projections for PPV buyrates for Liddell-Jackson II? I'm interested to know what it'll do, and what folks right now are realistically projecting it'll do.
Liddell-Jackson is a huge rematch, and diehard MMA fans are more eager to see this than Liddell-Tito II; but since the casual North American MMA fan doesn't know a lot about Rampage, plus he's not nearly as polarizing as Tito, I have to assume this card will sell less than UFC 66. Plus this card isn't as solid as UFC 66 was.
I just wonder how much less; and I wonder how good a job the hype is doing of generating PPV purchase interest.

It wont be as much as UFC 66, plus they promoted the hell out of that fight. Way more then any fight since then. But Liddell is on the card and that alone will drive the buyrates. I am gonna say it will be in the 700,000 to 800,000 range. A lot of die hard fans will get this, plus those that just want to see Liddell.

I think it will do more than 400k buys easily.
Most likely around 700k.

I'm going to be an enternal optimist here, and say a 1 mill. buy rate.
The UFC are promoting the hell out of it here on the fight network, Liddel/Rampage commercials are on during EVERY commercial break, as well SPIKE is showing the commercials non stop.
