What do you guys think of the IFL. Over here I have no way of seeing it, does anyone know if these are on DVD or anything??

The IFL is awesome, Give it some time 2 grow and it will be a powerhouse aslong as it doesnt get raped by Zuffa's legal team

Is Zuffa already involved with it or are they likely to try and get rid of it because it could become direct competition against the UFC??

It's okay.I like the team concept and they're making good moves with the FSN deal ,but they'll have cards with a bunch youngsters. They do have superfights though.

Keith Evans used to be one of the UFC backroom boys, but left & joined up with the IFL.

Dana White has his panties in a twist cos he says Evans has knowledge of Zuffa company secrets, which he can use to the IFL's advantage.

So he's suing them. Frankly this kind of stuff is only harming mma's reputation as it is highly unlikely this is about trade secrets, more though cos Evans left UFC for a rival company.

Geez - I just taped the premier of The Contender over the last IFL show for a buddy whose power went out on Tuesday night or I would have sent it to you.
The fights are good, but the telecast doesn't have the same energy as a UFC show. If you are logging onto this site and posting here, you would def. enjoy watching it. It's obvious that the Militich guys embrace the team concept, not clear one way or the other if the other teams are buying into it.

It wasn't just based on the knowledge that Evans would have but also because documents detailing marketing strategies and things of that nature were taken from UFC offices when Evans left.

It isn't information that should have been taken, very unethical to do so.

If it wasn't for that fact the UFC would not have filed suit.

The main thing that was debateable was how important the stolen documents were.

I've already bought tickets for the Sept 9th show in Portland, Oregon. Looking forward to seeing a big production fight. I have been to several "Sport fights" and although being very entertaining I have yet to be involved in a big MMA event. So go Tigersharks!

My two cents.

OK thanks, I didn't know about the documents. If that's the case you can see UFC's point.

I just didn't like Dana going on about "fucking crushing them" (the IFL) & I read Militech's release stating that he believes Zuffa's litigation was based purely on stamping out competition. I also heard Dana said that anyone working with the IFL will never be welcome back to the UFC.

Anyway's back on the subject, I've not watched any of the IFL cos I can't get it either, but on the one hand it looks like a good idea because, let's face it, it could easily be Militech Fighting System Gym Vs Hammerhouse Gym. Yet on the other hand it's a team concept & the thing with mma is that it's mano e mano, may the best man win.
