griffin was training mma monson was not theres a difference. and it was a decision and those can go anyones way look at all the decision the ufc has had in the last year. how many of those could have went or should have went the other way. mir got tkoed by a guy who doesnt strike its as simple as that.

cruz is a great jui jitsu guy that mir took on after sidelined from action b/c he was in a serious motor cycle accident.mir will be back at 61 to take on christonson i believe and mir will fuck him up.

i dont even understand your post? are u saying that mir will be on the ground when he fights next? sure probably but my point still stands that he got out struk by a guy who doesnt train striking until recently and hes not the best on the ground in the HW division anymore. pe de pano and monson are both better on the ground.

well if you think Monsoon belongs instead of Mir then its one way to settle it if we were in charge take an underdog in the tournament from each weight class and have a PRELIMINARY fight to get into the BIG DANCE...

i know this is the stupid way to put it, but monson handled cruz and cruz destroyed mir so it looks like now monson is the best out of those three and monson is the number one contender for the title at this point.
