Great question/thread. I've been curious about this myself. Hope it pays off for a lot of you - I've always wondered if some progress quickly than others and if that's parallel to the amount of classes one takes per month.

In US dollars it would be abit under 100 what i pay for 6 months How do people afford to pay that kind of sums....?! This includes 2 MMA and 4 BJJ classes a week.

I pay $95 a month for unlimited Jiu-Jitsu, striking, and Judo classes. We have good quality instructors, but our facilities aren't that great. We mainly have just mat space and Thai pads, punch mitts, etc. As we don't have many bags, most of our training is done through pad work and sparring.

Yeah I had to re-work my budget and prioritize a bit to swing the monthly bill ($100 for unlimited BJJ classes - not to mention the gas bill for driving 45 minutes out of town) - but in the end I think it's like anything else in that if you want to do it bad enough you find a way.
That being said, I do feel for some of my younger classmates who are trying to balance it with college tuition and rent all from shitty part-time job pay. Students do get a slight discount, but man...there is no way I could have pulled it off at that age.

yep expect to pay $80.00-$120.00 a month..remember its a business.

Gym space rent per month $600-1000
loan for mats,equipment etc.. $300-500
insurance, etc... $200-500
total $1,100-$2,000 per month for overhead costs

$100 per month per student
x 70 students
-------------------
$7,000 per month
-2,000 overhead
-----------------
$4,000 before taxes!!!!!
thats a way of thinking about it. How far will that get in you in your city??? not very far i assume.
