picked up killzone 2 today, have to say it's great, the online is fun as hell, the controls take some getting used to but it's def. worth a look.
Also got the new star ocean for the 360, I'll let ya know what I think once I give it a try, stuck on kz 2 atm though.

Well, if he isn't as bad as 3rd Strike Gill, then I should be able to handle him fine. I sort of got Gill down to a science and used to take him out.

Fact is, the really hard Street Fighter bosses tend to have very easy strategies to beat them (i.e. Shin Akuma, M. Bison, Gil, etc).


I hear Fear II looks good and plays nice (I haven't seen anything about it).

Picked up KillZone2 as well. And I was hoping the controls would be slight improved since the demo but they weren't. I did up the sensitivity and change the button mapping to COD type control but I have to say overall the game is good but (and I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but.) I don't think it's worth a 5/5. Maybe 3.5/5. Graphics are great but the controls.... man. I don't buy what people are saying online about how "you're suppose to feel like your in heavy armor and that the weapons are heavy" crap. I've been playing first person shooters for years and anyone who does knows that tight controls are paramount. The aiming is always slightly sluggish which if anything takes away from the fun. Secondly there is nothing compellingly new besides the nice graphics. I've played the whole single player mode through and the story is really all than interesting, voice acting is great but I felt that they've put in way to much swear to sort give the game a false "edge". First Person Shooters will always be a difficult genre to produce something truly innovative. Overall not a bad game but could definitely have been more enjoyable.

I'm glad I got this game off a gift card cause I don't feel all that bad since I really didn't spend my money. I'm going to trade it in for RE 5 in a couple of weeks.

It's all good to me, each to their own. To me it plays more like GeOW than COD. Not going to lie, I like the flow of the COD controls better as well, but after playing this for a while I'm having no trouble at all and really enjoying the game. I really like how in mutliplayer the modes randomly change, that really adds to the fun factor for me. The story is so-so but I had a blast with COD 4 and COD WaW single player games and the stories there were pretty much non-existant imo. I don't really look for great stories in shooters, if it was an RPC then I would complain. I'd probably give the game a 4.75 out of 5.
I really enjoyed RE 4, just from the demo of RE 5 I don't know though, let me know how it plays.

You really have to try the RE:5 demo co-op with one of your buddies. It's quite a bit more fun.

RE 5 looks amazing so far. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

OK guys the 1.20 patch has been released for KZ2 and there have been reports of improved aiming controls. I will test it out and report my results tonight, stay tuned.

Edit: After running the patch I can positively say the aiming controls have been ever so slightly and have brought some of the enjoyment back to the game. There is still a slight bit of aim lag but it's not as bad as it before.

Regarding RE:5 I'm just a huge RE fan in general so I'm unfortunately predisposed to the RE 5 hype.

Ramma: Yeah back to the cheap bosses issue. For Seth he's definitely beatable but I haven't figured out a pattern to him just yet but he seams very susceptible to jumping HP or HK to HP or HKsweep attacks if timed right. He's also very fast but occasionally he'll do a off the wall attack ala Vega but is easy to Dragon Punch/Flash Kick/Antiairmove depending on which character you're playing if you can see it coming. The part that makes him cheap is his incessant teleport to spinning pile driver or dragon punch string which is somewhat difficult to counter if he gets you in a blocking pattern.

I need to stop coming into this group. All it does is make me what that PS3 more lol
