Ernesto Hoost Interview (Audio) Don't let the videos fool you, it is audio interview... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LnpqKrjo1kY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LnpqKrjo1kY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vktR9EXtYUQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vktR9EXtYUQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Personally, I can't figure out why there weren't that many people at the seminar. I would have jumped on that like white on rice. I hope Hoost does one within my area. I would drive a few hours to do stuff with him for sure. |
To my knowledge.. no, Hoost never did any ground training.. However, I doubt that he never did any. I mean, he did seminars with Fedor at one point. I am sure he learned some stuff from all the MMA fighters and BJJ guys he would have been exposed to in all his time in the fight game. I mean, unless he intentionally avoided it, of course. And yeah Sundance, he would have been one hell of an MMA fighter I imagine. I guess it would depend on how well he could have adapted his whole game. Not every kickboxer can make a smooth transition like Cro Cop or Hunt, as you know. |
Hoost is all class. Truely a legend of K1, and martial arts in general. |

And Intellectual (I am sorry, I miss it Leg Kick) is right. Hoost is a legend in martial arts, not just kickboxing. The guy was/is amazing. Would be awesome if he came back for just 1 one more fight... |
im going back to Intellectual. the whole Leg Kick/Leg Lock/Rape Choke thing died out. |
