Anyone know if Tony Jaa ever competed in Muay Thai Kickboxing???

my guess would be yes

I remember reading somewhere that he learned his style just for his first movie. And it was supposed to be some ancient deadly style that gave birth to Muay Thai, but I don't really remember it all. I don't remember reading about him competing.

hmmm, I havent read anything on that either, hopefully somebody knows for sure.

I think it would be awesome to see him fight though. From what I've seen he seems really comfortable and knowledgeable of his style.

I really wish fighters in these movies like Tony Jaa or Joe Eigo would compete. I know they already make a lot of money but I'd love to see it.

Anyone could look like they know their stuff with the right action choreographer.

And if these guys fought in a real competition and got beat, it'll hurt their "action hero" image.

Tony Ja isn't young and he learned Muay thai at 29 I think (he's no Donnie Yen tho :angry4: ).

As far as i know he has training in several styles, to what extent i don't know, but he has to have a decent level of training to do the things he does, the average guy off the street cant pretend to fight/do moves like that.
