Question about ISKA Strikeforce I was watching FSN the other night at like 2 AM and kickboxing was on. It said it was ISKA Strikeforce and the fight was between Jean Claude Lauyer (spelling?) vs a Russian I can't remember. It was for the Superheavyweight world championship. I was real impressed by Lauyer so I searched ISKA on google to try to find out more about him but he was no where on the official site. Now whenever it says ISKA on espn its K-1 and all the fighters on the site were K-1 guys. I don't know why if the fight was for the championship the champ wasn't even mentioned in the rankings. So my question is what is ISKA Strikeforce? Is it another name for K-1 or is it part K-1 part something else? Thanks to anyone that could help clear this up for me. |

I don't think Stikeforce is part of ISKA I think the dude just made a mistake but ask them yourself WWW.STRIKEFORCEUSA.NET |
I don't know I've seen several shows of kickboxing that said ISKA Strikeforce but most were k-1. Thanks for the site I'll try clearing it up. |
ISKA's website is not very good... strikeforce is the name of a series of fights. alot of the espn stuff in 1-4 years old, another reason why you may not see guys on their website. k-1 and iska are to seperate companies. but when k-1 holds events in the US. they actually have a contact to have iska run the show for them under the k-1 name. using k-1 usa fighters. |
ISKA Karate and such are on ESPN Classic at like 1 or 2 O'Clock in the morning in NJ. I watch it when I can't sleep, it is interesting |
I actually thought someone wanted to talk about k1 for a second, damn you. |
they have some good fights on ISKA |
