brandon vera an undefeated and a top prospect in the ufc hw division. slowly working his way up the ranks and im sure his next fight will be against someone in the top 10.
Gonzaga a very powerful heavyweight who dismantled former pride star mirko cro cop in his 2nd ufc bout. very well versed on the ground, very powerful, and his decent standup with ko power.
this is a match id really be interested in seeing, who takes it?

Gonzaga has very heavy hands and apparently great kicks. I think he'll take Vera to the ground and sub him. Arm bar, 2nd round.

Gonzaga! He's a beast and has very good stand up and ground game and he's much bigger than Vera.

Gonzaga takes this all day, he is very agile for his size and vera's fight with fabiano leads me to beleive that gonaga or werdum would sub brandon

GG has a a WW's ground game. Its doubtful that any HW can hang with him on the ground. Add in his striking, he might just destroy Fitch. The only thing that I'm not sure of with Gonzaga is his chin. If he gets caught, can he recover quick enough.

I voted for the wrong fighter
I think Vera has the striking edge and could score a TKO, but Gonzaga has the edge on the ground, and the size advantage

no way vera could hang in the ground with such a big and skilled fighter, and gonzagas striking keeps improving so i dont see much chances for vera

Could be either way...it depends who would knockdown or tap first, but i will pick vera...because i think he's a cunning fighter, bit wiser and more quicker than gonzaga.
