Hey you cant take away from Bas though... he is among top 10 of all time IMO.

I dont know about a prime CroCop vs a prime Bas though. As much as I am a Bas fan I think CroCop would take it.

i cant take away from what Bas did, his skills, etc. but he only learned how to grapple much later in his career, and still wasnt great at it, and couldnt wrestle for shit, as proven when he "beat" Kevin Randleman in the worst decision i have ever seen.

and his standup was great for MMA standards, but much like Kongo, i still see Cro Cop knocking him the fuck out

Prime Bas would take this IMO...deadly striker, tough chin and his hammer head is almost solid as a rock with a great Muaythai skills...bas by T.K.O

yeah, because Bas really proved his world class standup beating up a host of japanese grapplers that knew nothing about standup

When I saw the thread title, I thought Bas.. but thinking about it.. Cro Cops takedown defense has gotten pretty damn good and he is a better striker than Bas.. I won't make a decision, but I would lean it toward CC

i think cc would take it..but i wouldnt count out bas's muay thai skills..or his over all well roundedness..he was a great fighter and it would be a tough fight for both..but if i had to call it i say cro cop takes it...
