Don't know if you guys would agree, but seeing cungs performanace at strikeforce(if it wasnt staged) i think him and machida wuld have an awesome fight.

I think Lyoto would tko him in the second. Lyoto is so damn accurate with his strikes and is very patient. I think he hits harder than Cung.
Was there a rumour that the Cung Le fight was fixed?

great fight. always doubted le and thought that he would get owned in mma even thought being the best san show fighter of probably all time. its time i actually give him some credit,but machida is a tought fight for him.

Lyoto is a tough fight for anybody at 205. So coming up from 185 to fight him is an extremely tall order. I see this beign a stand up and bang-out war. But I see Lyoto Knocking Cung Le out in the third round.
Lyoto is my pick to be Shogun's first fight. Don't go easy on Shogun at all.
Lyoto is a tough striker and Cung Le is the same. But when it comes to competition in MMA. Rich Franklin,Stephan bonnar,Bj Penn, and David Heath Rank higher than Tony Fryklund. Cung Ler definetly has to potential; to upset him though.

A smart fight would be at a catchweight about 195. Lyoto was about 197 for the David heath fight, and Ten pound wouldn't be too bad a gain for Cung. but if we had to choose weight classes.
Cung at 185 by KO(punch) (Lyoto would be exhausted by having to cut weight,
Lyoto at 205 by KO (punch) Cung wiould have 20 extra pounds on him.

Cung Le has better wrestling, much much better on the feet.. but his ground game is still suspect

Cung Le wins despite size advantage
Cung isnt just a one dimensional kickboxer, he is a Shan Shou kickboxer meaning his takedowns and takedown D are amazing. Lyoto has never shown be good enough wrestling to take this fight to the ground
