|  Mirko vs Chuck
Earlier this year chuck said he would like to face either Fedor or Mirko. I think both of guys have an edge on him. Mirko's stand up game is a lot more polished and technical and i see him knocking Chuck out.

I know I am bias because I am a huge Cro Cop fan. But Chuck will have the same problem with Cro Cop that Wanderlei had. Chuck's punches comes from all over the place and Mirko is a straight forward striker for the most part. I see the match with Chuck being almost identical to Wanderlei. Only difference is that Mirko can completely forget about takedown defense or receiving any heavy knees in the clinch because Chuck doesn't do that type of stuff too often, as opposed to Wanderlei. Mirko also has a speed and reach (I am pretty sure anyway) advantage. Would Cro Cop beat Chuck 10 out of 10 times? Absolutely not. But I bet Cro Cop takes 7 out of 10.
I am not to sure how exciting of a match this would be though. Both of them go into modes where they do nothing but counterstrike. If one of them was pushing forward, it would be great though.
Cro Cop by KO, TKO, or Decision.

Chuck wont be able to counter-punch the better, bigger, faster, stronger counter-striker. Plain and simple, if you cant defend strikes you wont last long vs CC.

cro cop would win 7 out of 10 times...if not more...
but i dont see it going the way it did wiht wandy...chuck is a completely diff animal than silva when it comes to striking...wandy is agressive always coming forward and likes to trade shots...chuck sits back, angles and trows bombs to put you to sleep, they imo strike very differently...but one thing for sure cro cop is a better striker than both...
imo chuck would last a little longer than wandy and have a better shot at scoring the ko..wand came in to much on cro cop with hooks...cro co answerd with counter straights..with chuck it might be a little diff. because chuck will try and circle and counter like cro cop does...imo cro cop will beat chuck by tko 7 or 8 out of 10 times...but cro cop can be koed and with chucks power if he lands a bomb its night night for cro cop...
cro cop wins 8 out of 10 times...imo

Chuck can land a wild bomb. but thats not much of a shot. his style is too untechnical, with too little defense.
Cro Cop can counter like nobody in MMA, the jab keeps them out, the straight left punishes missed overhand rights, and the left kick is always there. he can move around in an explosive manner, get on his bike, and nobody hits him, while he keeps countering with heavy shots
and for those who dont come after Cro Cop, to avoid his countering skill, if they just chill and throw short combos and pick their shots, he can throw back shots just as, if not more, devastating than anything his opponent throws
Cro Cop is just that good a striker, and can capitalize on Chuck's weakness standing, his lack of defense.

unless Chuck pulls off a Randleman, i dont see him defeating CC.

cc would win, but chuck is a great striker with great power and its not like mirko has a hunt chin, but cc gets the fight

Personally, I think that either Fedor or Cro Cop would walk all over Chuck. I mean, im as big a Chuck fan as the next guy, but it just seems like an unfair matchup. Not only is Chuck outweighed by 20 by both fighters, but his game is nowhere near as dominate as Fedors. I mean if Chuck can't beat Rampage, he cant come close to Cro Cop or Fedor. Like anybody else he has a punchers chance, but thats about it.

if cc works the leg then he should pick chuck apart. i can see chuck taking the fight though. if chuck lands one shot on fedor, it's nighty night. different weight class too, so there's a disparity there.

fedor beat chuck in a fight. but for some reason i would take liddell over cc. not really sure why just a gut feeling i guess
