|  BJ Penn -vs- Karo Parisyan
I was just thinking this could actually happen. I’m not sure if Karo has a fight scheduled soon, or if he’s on medical suspension but check this out:
What if BJ doesn’t fight for the gold @ 155lbs and takes a fight @ 170 lbs? Karo hasn’t fought since May… what do you think?

i take bj but in a very close decision....bj has the better stand up by far and he can keep it on the feet....and if it goes to the ground bj will score points off his back and sweep karo...imo itl be a close fight but a ud for penn...

BJ by decision.
Better hands, much better BJJ and I believe that BJ is fairly well accomplished in Judo too. Obviously not to Karo's level, but mix that in with his stellar takedown defence and that doesn't leave much for Karo to get a win with.

enough said. Hard to finish off Karo although I think it could be a 30-27 decision Karo isnt going to quit for anybody. Probably 29-28 across the board for Penn

Karo is still a step below the elite guys at 170.

Id pick BJ too, but Id really like to know if anyone thought if BJ did in fact move back to WW would we see this fight? I think it would be fight of the year!

def bj, better all around. karo has great judo but bj would be better on the ground. hard for anbody at lw or ww beat bj.

I dont see karo getting submitted or KO'd.
i wonder if Karo can throw Penn. should be a real challenge.
