GSP vs. Penn II
So many people would say that this was GSP closest victory, some even saying Penn won it.
Who wins the rematch?

Who wins the rematch? | sorry bud from your other dream fight threads id agree that gsp would get the W. but bj is just better striking and on the ground. gsp may have the better wrestling but bj with good condition would win this fight, but you never know it could be like the first fight though.

ya gsp has to be one of the best rounded fighters in the game today, but penn is just better standing and on the ground. but if penn isnt motivated and comes in not in shape, that is part of the game and deserves to lose.

Penn wins this, i thought he won the first. So Penn would be more motivated to win this time.

Penn I think he won the last one and got Fucked. But that is what happens when you let it go to decision. Penn by Sub.

gsp wins again...i think in the first gsp got stunned but the clip to the nose and the eye poke and that affected the first round badly...but once gsp found his rythem then he started taking over...i think now that gsp knows how bj fights he will do better...gsp improves by leaps and bounds all the time so the gsp that faught bj the first time is not he gsp of now...im sure his stand up and ground game have improved...
bj has the better stand up but imo the eye poke and clip to the nose affected the stand up for the rest of the fight, and gsp was landing great leg kicks and good knees...bj got he better of the hands though...i dont think bj could subb gsp nor the other way around...and ofcourse gsp will have the huge edge in cardio...sorry but bj's cardio looked better against jens but not great, and that was at 155...i think bj will still start to gas agaisnt gsp at 170...gsp's pace is high and that will play a factor again...
i say gsp by another close decision...i think the fight goes the same way but this time gsp knows wat to expect and dominates a little more...
and penn did not wint he last fight...gsp won of takedowns, pushing the fight, and landing great leg kicks and knees...

Hard to say because of GSP's last poor performance against Serra. I'd like to see how GSP does against in his next couple match ups first before deciding if he'd take Penn right now. The really focused GSP in Hughes/GSP 2 would have me leaning towards GSP winning against Penn in a rematch. Like I said though is hard to determine right now. I'd like to see more from BJ as well besides just beating Pulver. For now I"m going to fight off the urge and the mass Penn fans on this forum and go with GSP.
